Position Summary: As an SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Lead at Exalogic Consulting, you will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Payroll solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP SuccessFactors Payroll, its integration with other HR and Finance systems, and the ability to manage complex payroll processes across global clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that payroll processes are streamlined, compliant, and aligned with the organization’s goals. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP SuccessFactors Payroll for clients, ensuring that payroll processes are efficiently designed and compliant with local regulations. 

  • Manage and execute the entire payroll implementation lifecycle, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and post-go-live support. 

  • Work closely with functional and technical teams to integrate SAP SuccessFactors Payroll with other SAP modules (e.g., Employee Central, HCM, FI/CO) and third-party applications. 

  • Ensure that the SuccessFactors Payroll solution is aligned with global, regional, and local payroll and tax regulations. 

  • Develop and implement payroll solutions that are scalable, accurate, and provide a seamless employee experience. 

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on SAP SuccessFactors Payroll and provide strategic guidance to clients on best practices, legal compliance, and process improvements. 

  • Provide expert leadership in the design and execution of payroll-related reports, dashboards, and analytics within SuccessFactors and integrated systems. 

  • Manage data migration activities, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy systems to SAP SuccessFactors Payroll. 

  • Guide clients through payroll-related issues, including tax calculations, wage type configuration, benefits management, and payroll reconciliations. 

  • Lead payroll system testing, user training, and troubleshooting activities to ensure a smooth implementation and deployment process. 

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and user manuals for the payroll solution. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, HR, Finance) to ensure the proper integration and alignment of payroll data across the organization. 

  • Oversee and mentor junior consultants, providing guidance on project tasks and assisting in the development of technical skills. 

  • Actively participate in pre-sales activities, including responding to RFPs, preparing proposals, and conducting client demos related to SAP SuccessFactors Payroll. 

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation, tax regulations, and updates to SAP SuccessFactors to ensure continued compliance and system optimization. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. 

  • 8+ years of experience working with SAP SuccessFactors Payroll, including configuration, implementation, and support. 

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, taxation, deductions, benefits management, and payroll-related compliance regulations. 

  • Hands-on experience with integrating SAP SuccessFactors Payroll with other SAP modules (e.g., Employee Central, HCM, FI/CO). 

  • Experience with global payroll implementations and understanding of country-specific payroll requirements. 

  • Familiarity with payroll reporting tools within SAP SuccessFactors and integration with SAP Analytics Cloud or other reporting tools. 

  • Proven ability to manage and deliver large-scale payroll projects on time and within scope. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and IT teams. 

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in relation to payroll issues. 

  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring successful project delivery. 

  • SAP SuccessFactors Payroll certification is a strong advantage. 

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP HR modules is a plus. 

  • Knowledge of industry trends in payroll and HR technology is desirable. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with payroll-related data migration and data validation. 

  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications for payroll and HR functionality. 

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools. 

  • Ability to design and deliver effective end-user training and documentation for SAP SuccessFactors Payroll.
