Position Summary: 
The SAP AI Consultant will be responsible for driving the implementation and optimization of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions within the SAP ecosystem. This includes advising clients on AI use cases, designing AI-driven business processes, and integrating advanced AI technologies like machine learning, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation into SAP applications. The consultant will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver AI-powered solutions that improve business outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the design and implementation of AI and machine learning solutions integrated with SAP systems (S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Leonardo, etc.). 

  • Identify AI opportunities across various business functions (finance, procurement, sales, supply chain, etc.) and provide strategic recommendations for leveraging AI to drive operational efficiency and innovation. 

  • Work with SAP’s AI capabilities, including SAP AI Foundation, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Leonardo to create custom AI solutions. 

  • Design AI models, implement machine learning algorithms, and build intelligent automation processes to solve complex business problems. 

  • Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business teams to define AI use cases and ensure AI-driven solutions are aligned with business objectives. 

  • Develop and deploy AI-powered applications, including predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and natural language processing (NLP), into the SAP environment. 

  • Integrate SAP AI technologies with other SAP modules (such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP SuccessFactors) to enhance data-driven decision-making and business performance. 

  • Lead data science initiatives by developing AI models, algorithms, and data pipelines to analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data. 

  • Advise clients on data requirements for AI models and machine learning, including the collection, cleaning, and processing of data for AI integration. 

  • Evaluate AI technologies, tools, and platforms, and recommend the best solutions for clients. 

  • Provide expertise in AI governance, ensuring ethical AI implementation and compliance with data privacy regulations. 

  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer to clients, enabling them to adopt AI technologies within their business processes. 

  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure successful deployment and execution of AI solutions. 

  • Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, trends, and best practices, applying this knowledge to optimize SAP AI solutions. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. 

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing AI solutions, with a strong background in SAP technologies. 

  • Deep understanding of SAP AI/ML capabilities, including SAP AI Foundation, SAP Leonardo, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). 

  • Expertise in machine learning algorithms, predictive analytics, and data science methodologies. 

  • Proven experience with integrating AI technologies such as predictive models, natural language processing (NLP), and intelligent automation within SAP environments. 

  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and integration of AI with core business applications (e.g., finance, logistics, supply chain). 

  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and its AI-driven analytics capabilities. 

  • Hands-on experience with Python, R, SQL, and other AI-related programming languages and tools. 

  • Knowledge of cloud-based AI services, such as SAP Data Intelligence, Google Cloud AI, AWS AI/ML, or Microsoft Azure AI. 

  • Understanding of AI ethics, data governance, and regulatory compliance related to AI applications. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex, cross-functional AI projects. 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Ability to collaborate with both business and IT teams to design and deliver AI solutions. 

  • Experience with Agile methodology for delivering AI projects is an advantage. 

  • SAP certification in AI or related SAP technologies is a plus. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with AI-driven chatbots, virtual assistants, or AI-powered customer service solutions. 

  • Familiarity with SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and how AI integrates into business process automation. 

  • Knowledge of deep learning, computer vision, and speech recognition technologies. 

  • Experience working with large-scale data sets and leveraging big data platforms such as SAP Data Hub. 

  • Ability to design and implement AI models in cloud and on-premise environments. 

  • Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or retail industries is a plus, as these sectors are increasingly adopting AI solutions.
