Position Summary: 
The SAP Real Estate Lease In Lead will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and implementation of the SAP Real Estate Lease In module. The role will require expertise in the end-to-end lifecycle of real estate lease management, from lease accounting to contract management, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and operational efficiency. The consultant will also oversee the integration of SAP Real Estate solutions with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI/CO, SAP MM) to support seamless lease and property management for clients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Real Estate Lease In solutions, focusing on the management of real estate leases, accounting, and related processes. 

  • Work with clients to understand their business requirements and map those requirements to SAP Real Estate Lease In functionality, ensuring solutions meet organizational needs. 

  • Design and configure SAP Real Estate management solutions, specifically in the areas of Lease In, Lease Accounting, and Contract Management. 

  • Guide clients through the entire lifecycle of lease management, from contract negotiation to lease accounting and property management. 

  • Ensure the solution is in compliance with lease accounting standards (such as IFRS 16, ASC 842) and local accounting principles. 

  • Oversee the integration of SAP Real Estate Lease In with other SAP modules, such as SAP FI/CO (Finance and Controlling), SAP MM (Materials Management), and SAP RE-FX (Real Estate Flexible Management). 

  • Lead data migration activities, ensuring that real estate data is accurately transferred from legacy systems to SAP. 

  • Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on SAP Real Estate Lease In processes and functionality. 

  • Conduct system testing (including UAT), ensuring that the SAP Real Estate Lease In solution meets business and technical requirements. 

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications, system configuration documentation, and user manuals. 

  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting and resolving issues to optimize the SAP Real Estate Lease In solution. 

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in SAP Real Estate Lease In, advising clients on best practices, process improvements, and future enhancements. 

  • Participate in project planning, status reporting, and risk management activities to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, legal, IT) to ensure seamless integration of SAP Real Estate Lease In with the broader organizational ecosystem. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. 

  • 8+ years of experience in implementing and configuring SAP Real Estate Lease In, with a deep understanding of real estate management, lease accounting, and property management processes. 

  • Strong knowledge of lease accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 16, ASC 842) and their impact on real estate lease management. 

  • Experience with the SAP RE-FX module (Real Estate Flexible Management) and its integration with other SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, and FM (Facilities Management). 

  • Hands-on experience with real estate lease lifecycle management, including lease administration, invoicing, reporting, and accounting. 

  • Familiarity with real estate lease management processes, including contract negotiation, lease renewals, property maintenance, and tenant billing. 

  • Proven ability to lead large-scale SAP Real Estate Lease In implementations from design to go-live and beyond. 

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams to ensure requirements are met. 

  • Expertise in integration between SAP Real Estate and other SAP solutions, especially in the context of finance, procurement, and asset management. 

  • SAP Real Estate certification is a plus. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. 

  • Ability to mentor and guide junior consultants and business users. 

  • Experience with project management and delivery of client-facing projects in a consulting environment. 

  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based real estate management solutions is desirable. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) or other advanced planning tools in the context of real estate management. 

  • Knowledge of advanced reporting and analytics within the SAP ecosystem (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud). 

  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies. 

  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
