SAP PS EPPM Lead

Position Summary: Exalogic Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP Project System (PS) and EPPM Lead to oversee and manage the delivery of SAP Project System (PS) and EPPM solutions for our clients. In this role, you will lead implementation, configuration, and support efforts for SAP PS and EPPM solutions, collaborate with business stakeholders, and ensure the successful execution of strategic projects. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring that their project management needs are met while leveraging SAP’s capabilities. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Project System (PS) and EPPM modules for clients. 

• Engage in the full lifecycle of SAP PS and EPPM implementations, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support. 

• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP PS and EPPM, providing expert guidance to clients and internal teams on best practices. 

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional SAP solutions, ensuring the effective use of SAP Project System and EPPM features. 

• Manage and configure project structures, work breakdown structures (WBS), networks, and activities within SAP PS. 

• Oversee integration of SAP PS with other SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, and SD, and ensure seamless data flow. 

• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, guiding junior consultants through the implementation and configuration processes. 

• Lead client workshops, training sessions, and presentations to demonstrate SAP PS and EPPM capabilities and solutions. 

• Ensure successful project delivery by managing timelines, budgets, resources, and client expectations. 

• Define and implement reporting and analytics solutions within SAP PS/EPPM, leveraging tools like SAP Fiori, BW, and SAP Analytics Cloud. 

• Drive continuous improvements in project management processes and methodologies, identifying opportunities to leverage SAP’s best practices and innovations. 

• Actively participate in pre-sales activities, including solution design, RFP responses, proposals, and client presentations. 

• Manage risk and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices during project execution. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. 

• 8+ years of experience working with SAP Project System (PS) and Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) modules. 

• Proven expertise in implementing and configuring SAP PS and EPPM modules, including WBS, networks, cost management, scheduling, and reporting. 

• Strong understanding of project management processes, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling. 

• In-depth knowledge of integration points between SAP PS and other SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, etc.). 

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based project portfolio management solutions is a plus. 

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex business processes and requirements. 

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. 

• Experience managing and mentoring teams of SAP consultants. 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver projects on time and within budget. 

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a customer-centric approach to solution delivery. 

• Certification in SAP PS or EPPM is highly desirable but not mandatory. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. 

• Knowledge of Project Management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.). 

• Experience with SAP Fiori for project management-related UIs and dashboards. 

• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP BW for project reporting and analytics. 

• Previous consulting experience with enterprise clients is a plus.
