SAP EHS Lead

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP EH&S Management Lead to join our dynamic team. As an SAP EH&S Management Lead, you will be responsible for leading and executing SAP EH&S-related projects, providing expertise to our clients, and ensuring that environmental, health, and safety compliance is managed in the most effective and efficient manner. 

This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise, a deep understanding of SAP EH&S modules, and a proven track record of delivering successful SAP implementations in the environmental, health, and safety domains. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Leadership & Management: Lead a team of SAP EH&S professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support throughout project lifecycles. 

• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their EH&S requirements and business processes, and translate these needs into SAP EH&S solutions. 

• SAP EH&S Solution Design: Design, configure, and implement SAP EH&S solutions that comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations and meet client requirements. 

• Project Execution: Oversee the delivery of SAP EH&S projects, ensuring successful implementation, user adoption, and on-time completion. 

• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to improve EH&S performance and compliance. 

• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business objectives. 

• Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality of SAP EH&S implementations by following best practices, adhering to industry standards, and conducting regular reviews. 

• Training & Support: Provide training to clients and internal teams on SAP EH&S modules and functionalities. 

• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure the SAP EH&S solutions meet legal and regulatory requirements related to environmental, health, and safety standards. 

• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with SAP EH&S innovations and industry trends, and provide recommendations for improvements and advancements in system functionality. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• Experience: 

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SAP EH&S module implementation and support. 

• At least 3-5 years of experience leading SAP EH&S projects or teams. 

• Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale SAP EH&S implementations in various industries. 

• Technical Expertise: 

• Strong knowledge of SAP EH&S modules, including Product Safety, Dangerous Goods Management, Environment Management, and Occupational Health. 

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus. 

• Familiarity with SAP integration with other modules (e.g., MM, SD, WM). 

• Expertise in SAP EH&S configuration, customizations, and troubleshooting.

• Strong leadership, project management, and team management skills. 

• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and stakeholders. 

• Problem-Solving: 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results in challenging environments. 

• Communication Skills: 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

• Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• SAP EH&S certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – Environment, Health, and Safety). 

• Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA integration. 

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSHA, REACH, GHS, EPA regulations).
